Confirmation is a sacrament wherein baptized persons make a solemn confession of their faith in the Holy Trinity; make a sincere, informed and God-inspired commitment to the normal Christian life as outlined in the baptismal covenant; and then receive the strengthening action of the Holy Spirit through the ministry of the Bishop's prayers and blessings.
