Serving Our Community

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.

-Matthew 25: 35–36

Mitten Mission

Mitten Mission volunteers take used wool sweaters and turn them into lined, warm woolen mittens for the homeless. Our outreach mission graciously accepts sweaters that are at least 60% wool. Donations may be made in the marked donation bin to the right of the church’s back entrance, off the parking lot. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the office at office@saint-timothy.net or call 419.874.5704.

Cocoon Shelter

Our parish does a weekly collection of items to support the Cocoon, Wood County’s comprehensive domestic and sexual violence agency.

Little Free Pantry

St. Tim’s maintains a Little Free Pantry on our property. The mini-pantry is located at the back of the church, near our parking lot and is accessible 24 hours. It is stocked by parish and Perrysburg community members. The mini-pantry movement is a grassroots, crowdsourced solution to immediate and local need. Whether a need for food or a need to give, mini-pantries help feed neighbors, nourishing neighborhoods.
